This was single handedly the worst experience I’ve ever had getting a facial. Booking was first very difficult because no one answers the phone then only call you back after 6pm. I accidentally had my appointment time in my calendar for the wrong time and instead of Saira calling me when I didn’t come for the correct time I called her to try to find her I was met with her yelling at me that I was 45 minutes late. I apologized and said it was my mistake and I’d be happy to reschedule. She then suggested to take me after her next client and that she’d call me in about an hour. I waited and she called and took me. I added the micro current service. I’ve had several facials and microcurrent before. I’ve never in my life had someone do something to my face without taking me very calmly through every step and explaining what was happening. I ended up telling her to stop because of how painful it was and how completely unprepared I felt because I had ZERO understanding of what was happening and what to expect other than “it can be a bit painful”. I don’t know what it was but it’s no microcurrent I’ve ever had.
The entire process was so rough, condescending and honestly just so upsetting. I booked this for myself as a birthday gift to relax and enjoy and it was the most stressful and uncomfortable experience. No headband for your hair (product alllll in my hair line), no pillow, no dim lighting, nothing. This felt like going to my doctor for a Pap smear except my doctor is more considerate of my experience.
I can’t speak to the results because this was my first and last treatment. If you want to relax and enjoy a facial treatment this isn’t for you.
