Took in my obs ford that had a starter issue. Asked him to fix the starter issue and to also fix the transmission leaks, oil leaks, and to tune the turbo. He said okay and that in order to tune the turbo he’d need to fix the oil leaks anyway. He had the truck for 2 weeks.
He misdiagnosed the starter issue, replaced the starter motor when it was an electrical issue. He didn’t fix the oil leaks either. There was oil leaking from the valve cover gaskets by the time I got home. To top it all off he didn’t even put a hose clamp on the cold airtake he installed and it fell off while on a gravel road.
Listen to the other bad reviews. Just seems like a lazy mechanic. Marks up the price on parts and does minimal work. They offered to let me bring it in again but seeing that other people have had the same experience I’m not going back. Don’t have the time to let him hold onto my truck for another 2 weeks.
