We stayed at Quality Inn for a night on our way for the ferry to visit Victoria B.C. Location was very convenient to the port down the stairs (106 steps) on Laurel and a block to the Black Ball Ferry. Price was a bit outrageous, but location was key. Room was outdated, bathroom had musty smell from shower curtain. The AC unit was in the bathroom area. Parking lot was full in evening, but street parking was ok. Hot breakfast was included (scrambled eggs/sausage/biscuits&gravy/waffles/fruit/toast/yogurt). Coffee 24hrs. Room included small refrigerator, microwave, iron/ironing board, coffee maker.

The free upgrade was nice. Nice to have the extra space and the view. ||Unfortunately the kitchen sink wasn't working. The pillows also seem too small for the bed. ||The real negative of the stay was that there were rat droppings in the kitchenette drawers. They were either missed by housekeeping or more recent. Either way it was gross.

Great stay! |After reading the reviews I was sceptiptical staying here, however I did not find any issues with my room. |The linens were new and the room was clean. Everything worked. The breakfast was good. Would stay at this hotel again if I’m ever in the area.
