Our original reservation was cancelled by the hotel without notifying us (obviously they felt they could get more $ than what we had reserved the room at since we had made it several months ahead of time). They notify us that they cancelled the reservation nor would they honor our original price. We ended up using choice privileges points to make another reservation.
The parking lot was not cared for. Weeds growing up through the blacktop, broken equipment left in the parking lot. Hoses left next to the building that extended onto the sidewalk making a tripping hazard.
The room was dirty including the walls. Flooring had been updated but the furniture was old and scuffed.
Breakfast area was way too small to accommodate guests and the staff did not keep it refilled.
I haven’t stayed in a hotel this dirty in a long time. I was disgusted and didn’t even want to touch anything. I’m not sure if all the rooms are this way but by the amount of junk outside the building and the splatter on the walls throughout the hotel, I’m betting most all rooms were similar in not actually being cleaned.
I did check and there’s a dust mite cover on the beds and the sheets were clean. Though with the overall dirtiness of the rest of the room I still couldn’t sleep well.
If it’s all you’ve got, ok. I’ve you can stay somewhere else, I’d recommend that over staying in this hotel. (These photos were only a small portion of the uncleanliness of the room and hotel itself)
