I've seen a lot of Optometrist throughout my life, from childhood onward, I have never had anyone explain in such great detail about my eyesight and the effects that diabetes has on my eye health. Dr Horne took great care with the exam, explaining everything in layman's terms, how uncontrolled blood sugar has negative effects if not kept under control will eventually cause larger problems; like retinopathy. Dr Horne's concern and in depth exam found that I needed surgery for another problem that usually comes later in life Because of my age and my many years with diabetes had I not gone to Dr Horne's office I don't believe I ever would had been told of the issues as she was able to relay to me. I have the highest confidence in her to help keep my eyesight on track for many years to come. I'm so glad I took the advise of someone that referred Dr Horn to me, she as well as her staff made me feel at home.
