My son attended scottish Rite , for about a year or so. Hands down to Mrs. Jovie who had faith in my little one. She truely works from her heart to make sure our little ones get to the level they should be at. He is 4 now and is reading, writing, and talking up a storm! She is truely our angel! Highly recommend scottish Rite clinic , but ask for Mrs. Jovie, she is a miracle worker!

My son was diagnosed with apraxia of speech at 3 years old and we started seeing mrs. jovi not long after and we seen her for about 9 months we had such a great experience every time we went. My son went from saying a handful of words to having full conversations with me in such a short amount of time. Mrs.jovi and mrs. Teresa made going to speech so enjoyable for my son he liked learning and going to speech and doing his homework once we got home. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if your looking for a place to take your child. One thing I can say is mrs. jovi gives you the tools to help your child at home to practice when most other speech therapists don’t do which was the biggest thing that helped my son. I am very thankful for her helping my son find his voice and helping him learn to communicate.

I can’t say enough about this center, it is the best decision me and my husband have ever made for our daughter. It is a bit of a commitment with two sessions a week and following with homework assignments, constantly practicing sounds, letters, etc. But it is worth it, when we first brought our daughter here she barley spoke a word. Nothing but mumbling came out of her mouth. Once Ms. Jovie took over everything changed. She is very firm, but her firmness is what keeps this place so successful and keeps the children aware that they are here to learn. Ms. Jovie uses playful games, songs and the children’s interest to keep them entertained. So even though they are playing and joking around it is all straight education. She makes it fun for them so that they are learning at the same time and my daughter enjoyed every little part of it. Sometimes my daughter would bring her favorite toy with her to show Ms. Jovie and Ms. Jovie would always try to incorporate the toy in to the lesson they did for that day. We have just completed 100+ sessions with Ms. Jovie and now my daughter is able to not only speak and let me know what her needs are, but she is also able to understand what I am saying to her and understand the material we are doing at home, from reading books to doing her homework. I am glad we did this. It took much effort from me, my husband, my daughter and of course with Ms. Jovie leading the way. I am so thankful for this center and the things they do for children who struggle with their speech.
