after contacting many storage units in the area and making my 1st reservation and then reading the reviews. I swiftly canceled that reservation and got smart and read reviews first :). Not only did Ranier have good reviews, there rates were good and they were very nice, very helpful and quick to respond. I only have 3 comments or positive feedback. that shouldn't stop anyone from renting here.
I recently made an online reservation with this storage company, but my experience upon arrival was very disappointing. When I got to the facility, the front desk representative informed me that she had tried to call me, but claimed my number was unreachable. She told me that when she tried calling me from the office, my number didn't work, and for that reason, they couldn't provide me with their service. This doesn't make any sense since it must be a problem on their end, not mine. After verifying the number with her, it was clear that the issue was not on my end as the number she had was correct and has been the same for years.
Despite understanding the communication issue, I was met with a dismissive attitude. Instead of attempting to find a solution, the representative showed a lack of professionalism and seemed uninterested in helping. Her demeanor was unwelcoming and gave the impression that she had no desire to be there.
Customer service should be a priority, especially in situations like these where a simple miscommunication can be resolved with a bit of effort and a positive attitude. Unfortunately, that was not the case here.
