Artists, writers, producers, filmmakers must be very prudent with this law firm... Read everything carefully before signing... If you are reading this post, it means that you must not sign and deal with Ramo. The Google ranking 4/5 is questionable, as of 2023/03/16, despite the serious complaints on websites like Reddit. Even if you were paid an upfront, don't let your optioned rep sign with this law firm without your consent, unless you are ok with being a ghost creator. To prevent it, you must have a block in the contract you sign with your rep. If you did not and the rep naively signs with this firm without your consent, you are likely to be robbed of your rights. Every artist should at least take an entertainment law crash course. The top schools require art students to take at least one entertainment law course. You cannot entirely rely on your own lawyer... You too must read the documents before you sign them, unless you have no time (you are the type "time is money") and your lawyer or rep is fully insured and prepared to pay you a sizable amount for E&O, negligence, recklessness and malpractice as such.
