They were really busy but the staff did an amazing job. Jaun is great! Our only complaint is that the margarita prices are pretty high.
Extensive menu with lots of choices. Remarkably friendly and attentive service. Salsa is very good and served with fresh and light tortilla chips. Also included was a plate of cabbage style pico de gallo. Interior is clean with colorful and festive decor with many hand-painted traditional Mexican scenes on the chairs and booths. Pretty cool. Restaurant is roomy with plenty of seating.
I ordered a chicken taco and a pork tamale combination. This came with generous portions of rice and beans - actually more than I could eat. That never happens. Taco came on a bed of lettuce which kept it from getting soggy, which is nice. Typically the chef just throws the taco on top of the beans and by the time it reaches the table, it’s too soggy to even pick up. However, it was not chicken, but ground beef. Not what I ordered but still tasty. Tamale was a bit disappointing. Although good, it was half-sized and a bit dry. Again, still pretty good. Soft drink came in a big 32oz glass so you don’t have to worry about refills. All in all, a very good experience and a good value with above average service and quality food at very reasonable prices.
