Rancho Viejo Hayden Idaho

I had heard very good things about this restaurant. My husband and I decided to go together for a date night. When ordering my food I informed the waitress that I had some food allergies and tried to explain them to her. She just said okay and didn't ask any other questions. When my food arrived it was dropped off by someone else. I tried to get the waitress attention. She didn't return to our table so I could not confirm that the food was safe. We watched her walk around and check on the other guests but avoided us. Two other staff members walked by and I waived them down. They could not help so I asked to speak to the manager. He was talking to people at the table right behind ours. He never came over. I sat and watched as my husband eat his entire meal. I picked at the top my my chicken tostada and the chicken was very bland. It tasted like the chicken was boiled in water with no seasonings. When my husband was done eating the waitress finally came over. I explained to her that I needed to know if the tortilla on my food was flour or corn. She rolled her eyes and said it was corn because it was a tostada. I didn't get to eat my meal. I had taken my meal off the bill. Never did talk to the manager. Would not recommend this restaurant. The elderly waitress just didn't not care and couldn't be bothered to do her job.

It was VERY warm inside, I don't think they had any air conditioning on. I couldn't imagine working in the kitchen as hot as it was in there and unfortunately we ran out of water for a long while twice without being checked on. However, the food was absolutely delicious and we all where extremely pleased with it. Massive burritos, large combinations with everything made perfectly!!

Not only is this the best Mexican in Hayden, Idaho, I think it is the best Mexican anywhere. Anywhere. The best that I have ever been to. They offer so much with their meal, including three different types of salsa with chips for an appetizer. They also offer a tasty dessert after the meal is over. Don't change a thing. Rancho! This is the perfect Mexican restaurant.
