Yesterday I put an order in for pickup at 7:00-it had informed me online it would be ready from 7:47-8:00 (closing) My family has lived in Biscayne my whole life and the location was the closest food option after a hectic day. I arrived around 7:30 thinking I’ll probably wait a bit with no issue, but thought there is a world it would be ready. I spoke to two people who spoke to me somewhat rudely and kept asking me what delivery company I was with. I was so confused and kept responding it was just for me and my family. I began waiting, and waiting and waiting. After 25 minutes I checked in again to see if the food was ready. Still waited. No one asked me anything while I waited or felt like I needed help. At this point, waiters were cleaning up, bartenders counting money to close up shop. Eventually I asked again and low and behold my food had been sitting there for who knows how long (long enough to have all my food cold) The person handed it to me with no real remorse or sympathy to the situation, especially with how politely I had waited. Everyone I spoke to was either not terribly helpful, spoke to me somewhat rudely thinking I was a delivery driver (which even if I was shouldn’t be a way to speak to someone) and didn’t really care how the whole situation went. The irony of picking The Range was it the closest and what I thought would be the fasted, ended up being honestly one of the slowest, worst restaurant/pick up experiences I’ve ever had. Like I said I’m from this neighbor and now have absolutely no interest in ever returning.
