I rarely post, but I finally feel compelled to because of the disgusting customer service I received at this Ray Ban store. tl;dr: The store employee wouldn’t let me into the store during regular store hours and repeatedly shouted at me to go away.
I got to the store around 12pm and when I tried to go in the doors were locked. A woman inside looked at me and waved me away. I was confused so I tried to look for another entrance thinking I had gone to the wrong store. After walking around the mall I realized that was the only Ray Ban store. I went back and the woman saw me and again waved me away. I asked her to explain what’s happening because I wanted to make a store return. She refused to come to the door but stood at the counter and refused to acknowledge me. I asked her again if she could tell me why I couldn’t go inside and that I couldn’t hear her. She finally walked over and said the store guard was on a break and she couldn’t let me in. I asked her when I should come back and she said she didn’t know. I asked her why couldn’t she give an estimate and again she said she didn’t know when he’d be back. I thought that was reasonable, if that was a store policy for safety. But then as I turned around to leave a tall security guard was stood right behind me. He had returned. So he opened the store door and I asked him can I go in now? But then the lady came up to the door and said she was on her break and I couldn’t go in. She told me to go away. I was furious now, and I asked her why am I being turned away as a customer? She was now yelling at me that she was on her break and I should come back in 20min. I was shocked at her attitude. I would have just come back after her lunch break if she had just simply and politely told me that to begin with. But instead she had used the security guard as an excuse, repeatedly ignored me and then raised her voice at me. I’ve never been so rudely turned away at a store before and for simply asking when I should come back. If there is a way to report this employee to Ray Ban I would because this lady should not be working there.
