I had my transmission rebuilt there just over 3 years ago. I paid for a heavy duty transmission and for an extra year warranty. Had no issues the first year but then had the sensor go out. Sent it in several times after that for issues, they would give it back saying they fixed the issue. Kept sending it back and getting it back with the same issues. I have now taken it to another transmission shop because Rayman will not honor the warranty. Needless to say, I have to have it rebuilt again because it was not done right to being with. I paid over 5000 the first time and have to pay again because the fixes that were done were all temporary fixes, not once was the orginal issue fixed compliantly.
When the new transmission shop opened the transmission there were metal shavings and pieces falling out. If it was fixed correctly then there would not be pieces falling out,
I wish there was an option for zero stars. Nobody ever has answers. Our original trip in for an estimate took a week, first red flag. We decided to have them do the work and it took over a month to complete. Whenever I called noboday had any answers and I was always told to call back in 10 minutes or the next day because the only guy with answers was gone. He is always gone.
Now I have a leaky transmission, took it in to have them fix the leak, they had it a week. Took the car in to have some maintenance done on it and was shown how they "fixed" the leak. They slathered the entire transmission with silicone. They didn't fix or locate the leak they contained it in the transmission case. Made an appointment to have the car fixed correctly 3 weeks ago and we dropped it off last night. I called at 9am for an update and was told they cannot give me an estimated timeline of completion and would not agree to giving me any updates. The lack of professionalism and follow through is unreal.
Once they have a committed work order and you are on the hook to pay, you'll be left out in the wind. Other vehicles and customers will take priority. RUN.
