Park benches, area of shade, and interesting playground make this a great respite for any age or any family. Playground appropriate for 2-10yo. Wheelchair and stroller friendly with no steps into Park area but only minimal walk way area.

It is small park but big in history. I learned about the lifestyle of the Natives that live in the area and their lifestyle.
There is well known personalities from this area. Several Victorian homes are in the area. The county court house is being remodeled and is a beautiful building.

No bathrooms! But close enough to Dairy Queen that you could use those if needed. Had little ones and ended up finding portapotties as we were on a road trip. Kids loved the playground though, a little dangerous though because of the cement tables and play ground
