I’ve been with RBC since 2013. After eight years of spinning my wheels with them I decided to close my accounts at this branch after a lengthy and frustrating phone call with customer service.
They couldn’t have cared less that I did so (closed my accounts). They simply gave me my receipt of transaction and showed me the door.
Royal Bank how big a corporation you have become and how far you have fallen out with your customers. I know I’m not the only one. To any blue collar worker, take your business and family finances elsewhere, Royal Bank doesn’t care about your business, at least they didn’t care to have mine.
I’m a school teacher who works 8:30am-5:30pm every week day. I went to an RBC location on a Saturday to resolve a fraudulent online company transaction. I was told by the person at the counter to call the phone number on the back of my card, which I already tried during my lunch hours at work. I was put on hold for over 30 minutes. I had to hang up because I had to go back to work, teaching. The person at the actual bank could not/would not help me because it was the weekend. Awful experience with RBC, and I never complain about anything…
