I don't know which company is worse, Recology or Coast to Coast Financial Solutions (CCFS)! I got a letter from CCFS asking to pay a closing garbage bill from a year ago, which I have always wanted to pay (spoke to a Carmen from Recology last year and got even emails exchanged with her as proof requesting the final invoice); however, I never received it. Because this Carmen did not do her work, I ended up with CCFS. The other members of Recology's customer service team don't even care that you want to pay, they won't help or listen either, they'll only blame the mail service. One word to describe customer service in both companies = mediocre. CCFS's customer service team won't help you either: I called several times but got disconnected yesterday, when I finally got to spoke to a Daniella; however, it did not help much. Be aware that you can never dispute their claims (you can try but you'll waste your time because you'll never receive any response back from them and they do not give an honest opportunity to dispute and provide proof), either you pay or they'll increase the unpaid amount. And I agree with other reviews on the fact that CCFS works with an obsolete system, they have no problem taking your credit card payment info over the phone but requesting a confirmation email/letter or evidence on the payment you have made is something they consider outrageous. They won't send anything that proves you have paid.
