Inviting, Charming, Creative & Clean.
The day I was there, many of the artists were having a circular sit-down meeting in the back area and they were talking about the business of doing business and it was very professional and well-run. they seem to enjoy what they do, enjoy each other's company and really working hard to reach out to their local community and connect at a deeper level.
many calories are stuffy or untouchable and some of the artwork though try as I may, I cannot connect to but this gallery had something for the average person as well as the person that has high artistic value and taste. An oxymoron, perhaps. The attendant was very kind and came over and offered to answer questions yet immediately walked away and made herself scarce which, I appreciated. And I wanted to speak about the art I'm sure she would have been receptive.
I like how they opened up the window seats into small miniature galleries at the entry of the store and the hardwood floors complement the overall beauty have the old building, the metal ceilings at a nice touch and it would be lovely if someday they could uncover all of the paint on them but they still a day old world charm. The art as you can see from the photos I uploaded, is alive and so is the spirit of each of the artists. It's well worth a visit when you are in the Chehalis Centralia area oh, just a minute off the freeway, do yourself a favor and drop in. Distress, decompress and let your mind run free. Oh, don't forget to buy something too, support art!
