My friends and I have all had a great experience at this shop. The owner is knowledgeable and very helpful. We've taken in Ebikes and regular bikes. The prices seem very fair.

Having a local bike mechanic you can trust means everything. Fair, honest, reasonable. Few have the level of experience that Jon does! We are fortunate to have him in town.

I just had my electric bike repaired by Jon Richert at Red Tail Bikes in Morro Bay. I had broken my rear wheel brake cable, and my front and rear brake pads needed replacing. So Jon masterfully changed the brake cable and brake pads, and now the eBike stops quickly and safely. Jon had the brakes done sooner than I had expected and all for half the cost of what other bike shops quoted me. I'm happy to have a bike shop in Morro Bay with such an experienced and knowledgeable mechanic. He is a very pleasant store owner with great customer service and fair prices. Thanks again Jon!
