Staff are very nice, very helpful. The restaurant was freezing inside. Originally 58-60 degrees.
I have no problem paying well for good food. Our party of four out the door was $98. Three Philly sandwiches and one BBQ burger. Fries all around and fountain drinks.
I think they try really hard to make something above standard expectations. Unfortunately the Philly sandwiches all lacked adequate cheese. They did have abundant meat, yet very bland. The rolls were wonderful. Not enough onions and basically no peppers.
The burger was bland and barely warm. The onion rings were very tasty but again, almost cold.
Really think this could be a great place. Overall, disappointed in the mediocrity.
