Doctor Kikuchi did a fine job of diagnosing and prescribing my lenses. My complaint is with the opticians. The left lens of my new prescription is so loose in the frame that it easily pops out. The right lens fits perfectly. One of the opticians snatched the glasses from me and popped the lens in and out several times perhaps in an attempt to permanently damage the frames. The opticians blamed it on my "inferior frames" and they refused to make amends. I re-installed my original left lens, which seated proper and did not wiggle nor pop out. I re-installed the new lens and it still wiggles in the frame and pops out. The only conclusion: their vendor cut the lens too small. They charged me a premium price (nearly $1000 for the pair) and they refuse to stand behind their product.
Do not use their opticians. They won't stand behind their product.
A month has now passed and they did not reach out to me about the undersized lens. However, they did send me a bill for about $30.
I was happy to be able to get in to see Dr John at the Redmond Eye Clinic. I have been a patient with Redmond Eye for about Twenty years. I have been having some floaters on one eye that recently had disappeared. They checked my eyes and determined that the floaters were not a serious issue at this point. We will monitor the situation. I made another appointment for a full exam in about a month.
Just had the full exam today. Will be getting new contacts at a slightly higher strength. Floaters are gone. Good visit
