I would highly recommend Redmond-Kirkland Animal Hospital to anyone. We've been bringing our shiba inu Jack here since he was 13 weeks old, and we selected the office after researching several in the area. We've never regretted it.
The staff has always been kind and offered a lot of excellent advice. We get a full summary after every visit so we have a full record of every vet visit and all of his care.
And all of that is wonderful, but what's extraordinary is how lovely this team is in a crisis.
Earlier this year, Jack was attacked by a dog three times his size during one of his evening walks. We rushed him to Redmond-Kirkland Animal Hospital Urgent Care. He was terrified, in pain, and we were panicked and shaking.
Not only did the team see us as soon as they could, the team offered us blankets and coffee and comforted us because we were so obviously shaken. The vet examined our dog and ensured his care, but also talked to us about how dogs process trauma and prepared us for post-attack life with our dog.
They connected us with trainers, and the staff in the office all shared what personal experience they had with everyone on the trainer list to help us find the person who might be the best for Jack.
The trainer they connected us to - Jenn at Wiggles and Woofs, was just what he needed. Jack may never be a dog who can go to dog parks and day care again, but he's healthy and safe to be around. And I owe that in part to the fact that I found such a wonderful team at Redmond-Kirkland Animal Hospital.
When we adopted our cat Kaiju, it was a no-brainer to continue with the care here, and we've found the level of care to be the same for him. We've had excellent help and advice every step of the way.
