Dr. Gupta is AWESOME! (How's that for an opener?) But seriously, Dr. Gupta really is awesome. She's compassionate to her patients during what can feel like a very vulnerable time. As a vocalist myself, I can say that when the voice is not feeling or acting right, you just can't help but feel vulnerable. Dr. Gupta really shines during those times. She helped me when I felt at my lowest, most defeated, and I'll say it...scared. Any vocalist who finds something on their cords is gonna feel that way, but Dr. Gupta makes you feel like everything is gonna be ok. Fortunately for me, everything did turn out ok, thanks to her recommendations/instructions. She's passionate about the voice and she really knows her stuff! I can't recommend her highly enough! If you're having any kind of voice problems, Dr. Gupta is who you need to see. Thank you Dr. Gupta!
Dr. Gupta and her staff are amazing! She did an excellent job of diagnosing my vocal issue and offering a plan to fix it. I have been to a few ENTs and none of them helped very much. Being a specialist in treating singers, Dr Gupta was able to tell exactly what was going on with my vocal chords, exactly what to do about it, and made the process of using the scopes as tolerable and possible.
After diagnosing my issue, there was a laryngal massage and a few voice therapy sessions with Tressa, the voice therapist. She was equally as wonderful, a joy to work with, and extremely helpful in getting my voice back to normal.
