i saw the one star rating and was shook so i needed to write this review lol. i’ve been shopping here my whole life and if you need literally anything outdoors related this is the spot. everything the sell is the best quality and all the workers are knowledgeable and soooooo helpful!

I was pleased with the expert advice I got here and was delighted by the membership program that didn't feel like a scam. I only gave 4-stars because I thought it was weird to have a wall of bike helmets, but no elbow/knee pads and wrist guards. I came here to get safety gear for my new OneWheel, but only left with a helmet. Sadly, later that very day, I got in an accident with said OneWheel. My skull was safe, but my knee wasn't. I may have a permanent knee injury now. I was particularly annoyed by this because I went there specifically for safety gear and they just didn't have any knee pads at all.

Took my wife's Neo Synapse in as it was not providing any E assist. They did place front brake pads. Got the bike home still no assist from e motor. Went on Utube found out how to do the repair myself. REI used to have a good bike shop reputation. Not any more!
