Laughably bad communication. Seriously unprofessional service.
I’ve been going to an excellent medspa in mid Wilshire but got frustrated with a long wait for certain services so I went for a consultation.
Do you enjoy the phony friendly hard sell you get at car dealerships? This is the spa for you.
After waiting 40 minutes, I met a fast-talking person who didn’t introduce herself with proper credentials. She told me in 2 minutes that my needs were a 2k 8-week package but then stressed that it might not work and they worry about bad reviews. Red flag!
The nurse practitioner gave me a quick look and said my condition was mild, then went along with the sales pitch. This woman was rambling on and on trying a dizzying variety of sales tactics to get me to fork over 2k. Examples: we’ve all neglected ourselves. I’m a mom, too. I love science. As women, put looks are important for self esteem. We have special financing. Disgraceful lack of listening skills. I asked her why bother with a service if you also need to have the next package bought in case there’s more damage from the initial service. Then, she completely changed her pitch to say I could do only the longer expensive package, or just do some expensive creams. I’ve never had such an inconsiderate consultation. Then I was handed a form to sign, which she said was an estimate but the reception clearly thought was a contract that they asked me to sign. I cannot trust RevujaYou with my toenails much less my face.
She kept saying she wanted to educate me but did a terrible job of it. I honestly think she doesn’t know how. Read the Yelp and Google reviews to understand that this woman is not a lonely, incompetent salesperson filling in, she is the main salesperson who does the consults, not the NP or her husband who is the MD here. That’s not professional. They may offer decent services but you will have to get past the shameless money grab. Important points:
Avoid this place. We’re in LA with so many professional dermatologists and medspa. I decided to go to see my dermatologist for an expert opinion on my skin. The Sephora staff are much better trained and attentive. at RejuvaYou, they want your money. Their services are expensive and might not work, but don’t dare leave them a bad review.
I’ve been going to RejuvaYou for 7 years and I’m going to go there forever. First of all, the staff is great. Floy who runs the show is kind and warm and despite usually feeling awkward at these kinds of places, I always feel comfortable and looked after at RejuvaYou.
Last year I started getting some bad cystic acne (I’m an adult! When will the acne end!), but with their help, that acne is pretty much gone. It’s incredible and I’m thrilled with the results.
Added to which, if you want to take some real years off your face, do the IPL Photofacials. Especially in LA where the sun wants to beat us into the ground, Photofacials take that sun damage away. I’ve done the spa-type facials, and they may be relaxing, but I see no significant change. You need some lasers and you’ll get some serious results.
