These people are very unorganized. Honestly, I feel that temp agencies are rabbit holes, and they are selective about who they place at job sites. Some of their practices are bordering on discrimination in nature, but a lot goes unnoticed because that is somewhat of an expectation from a temp agency. Remedy Staffing wastes people's time by not being upfront about what positions that are available. You waste time in a bullcrap orientation only to be placed on standby for a week or more. They don't tell you that majority of their work is at one place, and they over-hire for this one company alone, so one would be lucky to even be placed that day or week. If you can avoid Remedy Staffing, I would definitely do so. My experience is that they are not very forthcoming with those of us who have wasted our time, energy, and gas to be placed. Oh, and their system of communication is archaic: you have to TEXT(!!!) immediately at 1:00 p.m. to be placed for the following day, but you're still lucky if you're ever placed at all.
My response to owner: Texting is not a reasonable form of communication when trying to resolve business matters. Also, it seems to me that some people have been complaining for over a year yet you have failed to properly address their concerns. My guess is that you ask them to text you their name and grievances only for you to remove them from your roster. I'm not sure about them, but I will not be wasting my time complaining to a company who has consistently shown that it doesn't care about it's temp employees. If you were authentically concerned, you all would have changed things by now. Change your system and practices, and I will immediately update my review.
