While I appreciate what they have done for our family, and the care they have provided, our last encounter was not a pleasant one. And after speaking with Mr. Desmith, we realized that we are still not too satisfied with how our matter was handled. IF, the EMT who tended to us was SOOO concerned, why would he be argumentative? To ask someone, “you’ve never had food poisoning before”, because you don’t want to have patience or you’re annoyed is not acceptable. Period. That is not “concern”. And his behavior was so disrespectful that I even had to take the time to report it! While I was ill it was so bad, I made a mental note to follow up! I even said to him, “I’m not here to argue”, and he still relentlessly continued. I can definitely distinguish genuine concern vs. annoyance. I don’t appreciate being patronized. We are extremely hesitant to call when emergencies arise because I believe we have had past encounters with this same person. So then, what corrective action did he receive? Did he receive any feedback or re-training? Or did his, “I was so frustrated I couldn’t help” suffice? Nice try, unfortunately I nor my husband are buying it. We are fully aware of the CARES program as well, please don’t insult our intelligence or intentions. Mental health and physical health are definitely two different things. Now that being said, I appreciate the good vibes that the other EMTs and Fire Fighters bring. Their kindness and patience never go unnoticed, and I’d hate to shed a bad light on the entire department. While I appreciate again the follow up and follow through, it simply was not good enough. We are actually owed an ACTUAL apology WITH accountability, not deflection.

Great group of firemen, were here in minutes when we had an alarm go off. Took less than half a hour to turn off the alarm and reset the alarm system. Just wished that after it was off they give an all clear to those outside of the building 🏫.
