I had a great experience at Restore. I recently completed the program and am so grateful for the techs, group facilitators, counselors and peers that I met while at the detox, residential and PHP facilities.
If you are truly ready to get sober, then this is a great program to start your new life in sobriety. The staff members are almost entirely in recovery themselves, and make an effort to listen to the client’s needs and take action accordingly. There is a healthy mix of peer interaction, group and individual therapy, and the partial hospitalization program (PHP) does a lot to provide useful tools for the clients in areas such as relationship management, relapse prevention, self-awareness, dealing with triggers and understanding the effects that drugs have on the brain and body.
The disease of addiction/alcoholism is cunning, baffling, and powerful. At restore, the team truly gives a great effort and does their absolute best to help the clients arrest the disease and make recovery truly possible. I wouldn’t be equipped to deal with the pressures of “the real world” without drugs if it wasn’t for the excellent help I received while at Restore.
My Experience with Restore Health and Wellness Center is that of pure restoration and recovery. I have been treated with respect and put in an environment to gain the tools I need to weather the Strom of addiction.
Nicole Prescott Is a group Facilitator/Supervisor she runs the programing and she is simply amazing. Last but not least is
Aliza The Treatment Administrator She is the reason Restore was awesome experience for me. She is both extremely professional and also understanding to her clients situations and emotions. She is an amazing person who I respect.
At Restore you go to Detox/Residential for 3 weeks then you go to PHP (Partial Hospizlation Plan) for the remainder of your stay. You are taken on outings (beach, movies, bowling etc) you get taken to outside meetings. You get good snacks and the food is pretty good provided by restore. Your allowed your own personal Groceries. NO ENERGY DRINKS
PHP your allowed off campus to go adventure around LA with treatment buddies. With a breathalyzer/UA upon your return. Your allowed your cell phones. Which I don't recommend because your in treatment it's really a distraction from your recovery. Also Turn in your cell phones for group.
Those who have been to treatment know it is what you make it. Honestly it could be shitty or it can be a fun and positive experience.
The only Cons I have with Restore is that the staff is not paid enough for the awesome work that they preform.
If your looking for a great treatment experience I would highly recommend Restore Health And Wellness.
