Dr. Ongchin is a wonderful surgeon, and she is also a very pleasant, and thorough, doctor. It is not an exaggeration to say that she saved my eyesight, not once, but twice, with her amazing knowledge and expertise! Even on follow-up appointments, Dr. Ongchin always takes the time to do a very thorough examination, which I greatly appreciate! Thanks to her taking that extra time with me, she found a new retinal year, which she was able to repair quickly and easily. I am so glad that my eye doctor recommended Dr. Ongchin for my retinal surgery! She truly is the best!

I gave 1 star for my first visit with Dr. Drunker. He literally spent about 5 mins with me, checking on my eye and telling me the things that I knew from the doctor who referred him to me. He show lack of patience when I tried to answer his question about my vision history. I don’t even think he review my previous files that was sent him. I am not an eye expert so I couldn’t remember the term for astigmatism, which I think can be described when you look at an object that gets very fuzzy even with a close distance, which is different than near sight or far sight. Instead of trying to analyze what the patient is describing, he simply replied with a tone “ I don’t know what you are talking about”. I think that was quite unprofessional as a retina specialist. At the end, he briefly explain the issue and the surgery, handed me some pamphlets to read on my own. It’s kind of a disappointment to have such experience. I can’t evaluate whether he is good or not but I’m not sure if I would want to have the 2nd follow up visit at this office.

I got a TERRIBLE eye infection in my left eye while being treated in the hospital for something different. Due to this infection I had the side affect of a retinal bleed. Getting a needle in my eye for the first time was RIDICULOUSLY scary. I've gone four rounds now of the antibiotics and Dr Ongchin has made it as comfortable as it can possibly be--and still have that needle in my eye!! Ha!! (The day she finds out how to get the antibiotics into my eye without a needle--WOW!! That would be amazing!! Lol!! She's smart enough to do it!! 😂) Anyhow--I still have to get the shots--but Dr. Ongchin makes you feel at ease and completely comfortable as humanly possible. I would not go to ANYONE else but her. Thank you so much, doc. And to the medical assistants and receptionists--I find them to be second to none!! A great facility experience overall---for a necessary treatment. Thank You!!! Heather
