Let me first say that I have no experience with Rosie and her repair abilities - which is what people seem to love about her with the reviews - my review doesn't affect that aspect of her work.
Part of my job is helping estates to liquidate assets including real estate, coins and jewelry - and it is my responsibility to make sure they get the best price. I had heard good things about Rosie's and so thought to give it a try when selling some estate jewelry. She offered me a lump sum of $500 for a small lot of jewelry that included 2 diamond rings (one of which she told me she didn't think was real). I felt it was way too low, so took the diamond rings and let her purchase the rest.
I'm glad that I didn't let her keep them, one of the rings sold for $200 as the diamond was low quality. The other got appraised at $4,350 and is currently on the market at half that value.
I have worked with several of the jewelers in the Seattle area for resale of items - I have found that Tara Nash Jewelers downtown has the best rates, and she's great to work with.. Just my 2 cents.. She's willing to review your jewelry and tell you what is real / what isn't..
