I should first say that I HATE dealing with contractors, handy people, etc... Despite that fact, Richard Hockett Roofing was GREAT! From initial contacts with office staff Andrea and Nicole... to the bid from Richard and Abigail...to the work that James, Austin, Scott, and Alex did...it all makes me want to give more than five stars! Not only did they get to my full re-roof a MONTH ahead of schedule, their communication with me was excellent, they got it done in the two days that they quoted (I initially thought "Ha! Yeh, sure!"), they charged exactly what they bid, the guys were a pleasure to have around, AND they left my property SPOTLESS (last roofers here cost me two quad tires). Also, they were the cheapest quote that I got (out of 5) that still had comparable materials and workmanship guarantees written into the contract.
Only critique = James and Austin's karaoke skills could use some work...but their current skill level DID make for a very fun walk to my truck as I headed off to work!
What a fantastic experience with the Team at Richard Hockett Roofing!! From my initial meeting, to the final repair of my wood stove stack. The wood stove installers had left the original cap/flashing and it started to leak right away. Hockett came in and reviewed the existing condition, put together their recommendations, and then readily fit me into their maintenance schedule. Just in time to avoid the driving rains! Andrea is an amazing communicator (and absolute delight) and kept me informed the entire time along the way.
I have scheduled to replace my porch roof with them in the near future. Down the road when I need a total new roof, they will be the folks I call.
