Never ever did I want to be one of those “I HAVE FALLEN AND I CANT GET UP” people, but it did happen to me in April 2023. I was home alone, well almost alone, I had a useless dog with me.
I call 911, because it was the only number I have memorized and I couldn’t get to my source of other numbers. The Duportail station responded in about seven minutes or less.
Three helpful men arrived, scooped me up off the floor, cleaned up the mess of spilled grocery bags, tested by blood sugar level and made sure I was okay. Thank you for your service and professionalism and training. You are at the top of my list of the deserving title of HEROES.

I know it’s odd to leave a review after they’ve helped right? Unfortunately the Emts and paramedics around the world are not properly trained in how to remove helmets from a rider after they have wrecked. I tried reaching out a month ago to who’s in charge of their paramedics, I’m guessing people don’t like being educated 🤷🏻♀️ motorcycle helmets have REMOVABLE PADS so that said emt or paramedic doesn’t have to jerk said helmet of said riders head without making sure they didn’t have a neck injury. EVERY HELMET!!! While I was ejected off of my motorcycle after a car hit me, the people trying to secure my neck where moving my head and neck around, I tried warning them about the pads but was told they GOT IT, well you don’t got it, after feeling my spine and neck pop and get moved around, after I had already rolled on the ground multiple times, they yanked my helmet off and then put the brace on my neck. Not only have I been having worsening neck issues, I tried to reach out, regarding proper helmet safety and was pretty much ignored. I know I know, but they have lives to, well if they had proper training and nothing to hide, why wouldn’t they reach out? I do greatly appreciate them coming to the scene and helping but I can’t help but wonder if they had proper training what could have been avoided in the past? Why is it people refuse to learn more about safety? Maybe it’s because they don’t like motorcycles riders, or just don’t care to much for them, maybe they just don’t care in general. I urge you and your employees to learn proper gear removal instead of not listening to a rider that know all about the 800$ helmets she put on her head 🤷🏻♀️ or the fact that she talks about safety and motorcycle riding for her actual job. I hope you can learn and treat the next rider with more care.
