Our visit yesterday afternoon was very efficient. Tests and exams were all done very promptly. We constantly spoke about how this was, far and away, the best treatment we've experienced in an ER. All the staff we encountered, were all very pleasant, concerning, caring, and respectful. Special shout out to Dr. Sawchuk and Nurse Ingrid! We will be coming from Abbotsford again the next time we need to hit an ER. Thank you!

Went there at 7 pm with problem that I cannot pee and my pelvic region is hurting so bad. I had hycosy done and my family doctor recommended me medication for UTI but it hurts so bad that thought of going to this hospital’s emergency. Waited until 12 am and asked the people there that people who came even 2 hours after me are taken in but not me, they said I have no urgency, does someone who has headache is an urgency? Literally around 30 people who came after me were taken in. I checked in again and they said ask nurse and the front people started laughing. Do you guys have basic human sense? Just disgusted by this behaviour. As a person, I wouldn’t laugh at someone. I gave up after 6 hours of wait as I couldn’t sit anymore and they said I need to talk to nurse if it is urgency, nobody seemed interested to talk , and I decided better to go home at this point as they might want to see me in emergency when my bladder explodes I couldn’t sit there, had to come back and lie in the car to feel better and at that point decided to come back and go home so that I can atleast lie down and feel comfortable and take medication which my family doctor recommended. Just so disgusted by the way healthcare works in canada. I am sure this review isn’t gonna make difference to anything but same on these people who laugh behind your back , just look at yourself and think of you are in our place or your family is at our place. Have some dignity and respect towards other people.

I was sent to the pre operation room and waited for almost 3 hours (3 hours late according to schedule) without anyone saying a word to me. There were 2 nurses sitting at the station that were talking to staff there, laughing, having a good time. I wonder if that is how staff treats patients nowadays? I really feel like I was an object ,not a human being
