Beautiful camp ground, clean and family friendly!! 🏕️ Wonderfully personal owners and staff who really take the time to build a connection with each of their camp members. Found out me and Gina love the same author too when we get a moment to get lost in a book. 😉Thanks for the new read! Despite the crazy weather this weekend we had a wonderful time!!! We will be back each year from here on out as our new Father’s Day traditional camp trip with the kids! ❤️ Thank you for sharing your beautiful scenery and hospitality!!!!

We extend our gratitude to the entire staff at Riffe Lake Campground for their hospitality and accommodating nature during our stay. The park was well-maintained and clean. Special mentions to John, Heidi, Gina, and William who were exceptional in their services and always available when needed. We arrived as guests but leave as friends. We look forward to returning soon.

This was our first time camping at Riffe Lake Campground. We stayed from August 11 thru the 15th, 2024. We were in site T9, which was a peaceful, private site. All the tent sites on lower loop were very private. The grounds were very family friendly, and quiet time was observed by everyone. ||Close to the lake; a small trek, but not bad. Bathrooms/showers clean and nice...even the porta potties! Access to wood/ice avail 24/7. The staff? Very friendly and helpful. The store was closed half the time we were there, (closed sun afternoon, mon and tues) but staff was usually avail to help us with anything we needed. ||We didn't take advantage, but there's places to play volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, and they have a small "bandstand" type area for concerts, etc. (None going on while we were there).||There were plenty of fishing places besides Riffe Lake, which my grandsons thoroughly took advantage of every one, from Swofford Pond, to Lake Mayfield, to Riffe Lake. Lots of wildlife...even seen several deer. ||My only complaint, and why I didn't give it 5 stars? Our site, as private, big, and nice as it was...there was only a small tent area...prob fine for a 2 man tent. But we had a 4 man tent...and a small part of our tent hung over a drop-off. ||Yes, there was plenty of other places on our site that we could have put our tent, but other than that small tent pad, the rest of the site was covered with good sized rock...which wouldn't have been comfortable to sleep on, even with our sleep pads. (But we scoped out the other tent sides on the lower loop and found a few where we will stay at in our next visit).||Overall, we had a great time, and can't wait to come back! I would recommend Riffe Lake Campground to anyone who wants a small, private, and safe place to camp!!!
