As the only Mexican restaurant on the Ridge, it represents that cuisine very well. It's not much of a sit down experience, but there is ample seating if that is your jam. They are fast, friendly and reasonably priced. We like to grab it to go and head over to No Boat when we're not a fan of the food truck for the day.
The food is solid, and as a bonus they serve breakfast food anytime!
VERY good special of the day. Pro tip: Just order the special; it's likely going to be very good. Special of the day when I came in for a quick lunch was fried pork in a med-spicy tomatillo sauce, rice, beans and tortillas on the side. WELL-seasoned dish. The pork was salted perfectly and then fried. The tomatillo sauce had good heat (not TOO spicy) but enough spice to keep me coming back for another bite. Tortillas warmed (not made from scratch, but that's OK). Not sure what the "not authentic" reviews are about -- since this is a family owned Mexican restaurant... and delicious.
