I went there today to fill a new prescription for my toddler. This last week has been emotional to say the least but as I was standing in line, I watched the person behind the counter publicly announcing that there are “just too many people” and motioning his hands in obvious frustration. Once I’m called up, I hand the prescription and explain I wanted to get it filled, he looks at it and says “this is a script, it goes to the box over there for scripts.” I said “oh okay I didn’t know that, but also the doctor sent it through can you just check?” He says “that’s great. But this is a script. We still need THIS before we can do anything.” And motions me to my right. I go to the next little cubby opening and I then ask the next person, “is this the script box?” To which my reply is another annoyed sigh and “yes. This is the script box.” He takes it from me, looks at it and says “this will be about 15-30 minutes.” I thought okay reasonable, but then the first person (the one initially annoyed with me) says “tell her more like 45 minutes.”
Whether or not this pharmacy was truly that busy that my daughters prescription would actually take 45 minutes to fill is not the point. This seemed like an obvious retaliation against me for being a nuisance to them. I will never use this pharmacy again.
