I am a thrifter. I drive down to the gorge about twice per year on average. The last time I was here this store was under different ownership. I have to say as a thrift store this place has gone down hill. This store was known for its exotic incense and candle making. I was very happy that the store was finally serving a younger population group. No, I am not happy with my experience here. The previous owner made the place exotic and would help me find whatever I wanted. There used to be tons of inventory. Not so much anymore. I brought in a donation the employee/owner shook their head at me. I don't use google much for reviews (mostly Facebook) but felt this review needed to be out there. Definitely this is a 1 star experience. I will not be back.

Riverside Resale is one of my favorite thrift stores, and I say this as a bonafide thrift store junkie. The owner is amazingly friendly and kind, so I am baffled by another review that says otherwise! The prices are half of what they are at Goodwill or thrift stores in Portland or Vancouver. I find kids clothes for typically $2.50-$5/ a piece, which is wonderful compared to most kid consignment places. Homeware, women's wear and men's wear are also really affordable (most items I've taken home are under$10!). The store is well organized, there's a good turnover of inventory and the store is kept clean. I highly recommend Riverside Resale!

Absolutely a 360 improvement from the last people who ran a thrift store in that building. The lady who runs it is the nicest person ever. The music being played is top notch. Over all it's a clean, organize, well priced, welcoming place. I go in all the time.
