Best Therapist Ever.
I worked with Dr. Hey for 6 months and just our first phone conversation, let me know that this was someone with tremendous compassion and empathy.
Dr. Hey was such a safe place for me, I never felt judged and he helped guide me through some pretty scary places within myself, that I could not have done without his help.
I will forever be grateful to this man for his patience, professionalism and compassion.
Waste of time. $75 fee for each appointment you cancel. You're only allowed to cancel three appointments per year without paying the $75 fee (for vacation). You can attempt to reschedule if you're at least a week out from your cancelled time, but he has no nights or weekends available. He won't charge insurance for the cancelled appointment (so you can pay your lower copay). He charges you directly. He does not disclose this policy on his website or over the phone when booking the first appointment.
Completely incompatible with the long hours of working freelance in film, something you'd think he would be familiar with given his Burbank location, but he just doesn't care. He seemed more interested in making $75 for an hour he didn't work than finding a solution.
