We had our home painted two years ago with Rodda's "Best" exterior paint. It's peeling. The Rodda men came out to look.. and quickly pronounced it as "not premature failure" but instead blamed everything else.. really almost ANYTHING else. An $11,000 paint job. scraped, primed, painted with peel bond, and two coats of their best and it's the fault of the WOOD. After living here for 30 years and this NEVER happening before. Let's just say for the sake of discusssion that he was right. This is caused by "too many layers of paint" (untrue but ok). The SMART thing to do on the part of a company representative would be do say.. "Tell you what. We stand behind our paint 100%. I'll give you a gallon of our best primer and a gallon of brand new paint and come out and look it over when it's all fixed".. THAT would have meant something. But he just blamed the wood, the layers of paint, the checking in the wood, and offered nothing... It really WAS a waste of time for the Rodda representatives to show up. I will NEVER recommend Rodda to anyone else for any reason. It's Sherwin Williams (which is a much higher rated paint in any case) or Benjamin Moore. Rodda dropped the ball here and I'm not happy about it.

Great service and good prices. Lots of parking and over all a very positive experience. The staff were very professional and helped load things into my vehicle. I'd recommend this paint store to anyone and specially to those who need color advice

I went to the rodda paint store on 4th, and Robert helped me. He was one of the kindest and most helpful associates I've ever encountered. He also graciously hosted me while I looked at paint swatches for near 1.5 hours! We used horizon paint and it's beautiful. Did two coats with no primer and it looks so smooth and rich. Thanks Robert!
