Been there today for the first time. Awesome experience, the owner was there and she made us feel at home. The ice cream tasted great. They have board games on each and every table. The restroom is very neat and clean, smelled very good. I even asked about the air freshener they were using. Would definitely go back.
The place looks absolutely amazing, like an ice cream wonderland. It's so pretty that I almost forgot about the disappointing ice cream. Almost. I paid a whopping $9 (plus a tip!) for a flavor that was supposed to be a sweet delight. But boy, was I in for a surprise! The flavor was as sweet as a lemon...which is to say, not sweet at all. It was like they forgot to add the sugar or accidentally used salt instead. Not exactly what I expected from a dessert shop.
And don't even get me started on the guy who worked there. He seemed about as enthusiastic as a piece of cardboard. I tried striking up a conversation, but it was like talking to a brick wall. Maybe he was just having a bad day, or maybe he secretly wanted to escape from the ice cream madness. The lack of sweetness in the ice cream, combined with the lackluster service, left me feeling like I wasted my time and money. Save yourself the disappointment and find another sweet spot to satisfy your ice cream cravings. Trust me, there are plenty of other places that won't leave you feeling like you're licking cardboard. Rolls Ice Cream, you've got some rolling to do if you want to win over this disappointed customer!
