Heather and Emilia are the dream team-- they took such incredible care of me throughout my whole pregnancy, birthing experience, and fourth trimester. They saw to it that I was educated, prepared, empowered, supported, and comfortable throughout this huge life transition and I am forever grateful. We had a lot of laughs along the way, too!

We were lucky enough to connect with Rosehip midwifery and they ended up being a huge part of our sons birth. They were with us the whole way through and were absolutely incredible, going the extra mile to make sure we had a comfortable and safe experience at home considering all of our questions as this was our first birth. They even stayed with us at the hospital when we had to transfer. The time dedication, experience and expertise these two bring to the table is second to none. We actually ended up moving back to Portland just to utilize them during our sons birth. I know they’ve done a lot of education of midwives and were super accommodating to me, my husband, and our 4 year old during the whole process over a year. They were always really clear and thorough to explain all of our choices and were absolutely incredible when it came to the postpartum period. They were there for me through a miscarriage I had previously and I found they run a really good balance between personal and professional in their communications. These two are so important to the bigger picture of midwifery, but also give a personal touch and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for the best of care through midwives. :)

Heather and Emelia are simply wonderful! I had my first baby with Rosehip Midwifery, so I wasn’t sure what to expect along the way… pregnancy, labor, delivery, postpartum, nursing… but they were SO informative along the way. They gave me so much confidence in my own body and its natural ability to give birth. I loved our appointments and always looked forward to them, and I was so sad when the time came for our care to end. They never judged us for our decisions along the way, even when our decisions differed from what they would do. They just helped us bring our sweet baby into the world and celebrated me into motherhood. I want to shout from the rooftops how much I love these women!
