I'm from out of town and stopped in Hermiston when the transmission on my 2007 RAM 2500 began running hot whether it was towing a camper or not. The Dodge shop recommended that I talk to Pete (owner) at Hermiston Transmission. Pete and the techs working on my transmission took me onto the shop floor and showed me how worn-out the transmission was after over 200k miles. They did part of the rebuild and update that day and got me back on the road. A couple weeks later I returned to have them finish the job. The price was fair and experience with Pete and his techs was professional, informative and enjoyable.
I knew I made the right choice when talking with a local longtime resident couple who said, "you made a good choice. Pete knows what he's doing and he's fair."

These guys are awesome I was traveling through Oregon when my transmission started leaking and overheated . They were busy but since I was in a hurry and from a different state they started working on it right away . This was about 2 years ago and the transmission has been flawless ever since . If you need transmission work don’t hesitate to go to these guys !!

I was amazed at the speed and quality of service they provided. After all of that, I still had a small shifting issue that was unrelated to the new transmission. Knowing the stress that my vehicle had caused me, they gave me a free diagnostic check. Then offered to purchase a new speed control censor and install it at no cost to me. I know they cannot offer the same deal to every customer. However, they knew that my vehicle had been an ongoing , and STRESSFUL, problem of mine for the past year. PLEASE consider Hermiston Transmission for your repairs. They treated me like family. Even though I was a first time customer.
