I would absolutely NEVER recommend Rudy's landscape and tree service. They were hired to trim the trees at Montecito cemetery which our property abuts because one of our neighbors complained about the trees in the cemetery hanging over their property. Instead, we woke up to them hanging over our wall by about 6 feet cutting one of our trees! I immediately told the guy to stop at once while I called the Montecito office to inquire as to what was going on. They had never had a problem with our tree and we were not informed that it should be "trimmed". While on the phone with the office, Rudy's landscape brutally attacked and butchered our tree cutting it literally in half! This was a very revered tree given to us by a dear family member over 15 years ago when we first moved into our house and is the pride and joy of our backyard. It has a lot of sentimental value for us. We were absolutely horrified and my children were crying! This was an especially cruel and viscous blow to us in a year in which we are basically confined to our homes because of covid and have lost so much. To chop down a very special tree in our own yard was absolutely devastating and we feel personally violated and attacked. Needless to say, the management at Montecito was also horrified and stated that Rudy's landscape was ONLY hired to trim their trees and absolutely NOT told to cut down the neighbors trees. The guy chopping down our tree was rude, argumentative and arrogant. He left behind broken tree branches from our tree as well as from Montecito's trees in our yard. He left our tree chopped basically in half with broken branches still hanging on the tree. In light of the fact that he was never hired to touch our tree, the attack on our tree was nothing less than trespassing and vandalism and should be charged to the fullest extent of the law. We will now need to hire a "tree doctor" to see if our tree can even be salvaged. I tried repeatedly to call Rudy's landscape and tree service to talk to a manger only to get an answering machine multiple times. No one has ever returned my messages.

I worked for him for a few months , almost got to the point where I couldn't survive he wouldn't pay me on time ever and I did a great job for him I even loaned him money along with a homeowner we were working for I really hope he pays them, after awhile he eventually payed me but it was only in time to keep me working with him, what I also noticed he was paying me under the table. My father is a contractor, be mindful this usually means that the contractor doesn't have workers comp, although I don't know if he does I can almost guarantee he doesn't have it, if his workers get hurt on your job they could sue your homeowners insurance and your job could cost you! be careful and check everything thank u have a nice day...I hope this helps
