Some of the best service and interaction I've had at a restaurant in a while. The indirect lighting, colors, attention to details and rustic atmosphere is a nice invitation to come. The food was absolutely delicious. The empanadas were flaky and well seasoned on the filling without being too much. House made hot sauces were nice on heat and balanced. The shrimp taco was really well balanced. There was a lot of flavor without it having too much bite with garlic or pineapple. I would have liked more of that flavor though. The mixed drinks were ok, nothing special, but better than dinner pours in the area. There's not much in the way of beers here, and they are poured from a can to a glass. I'll be thinking about those empanadas though... They were just really good and other than a small menu, I couldn't see bringing anyone here as going wrong.

Very cute place! If the wait is too long at inside passage, this is a good alternative! The pina colada was amazing. I recommend the beef empanada for food. Service was great too

If rum speaks to you it’s hard to find a better overall place to share a drink and app with someone(s).

Inside Passage (which is attached) has the traditional insta-worthy presentation, but high prices and lower drink quality. Rumba is better for everything but the full tiki experience.

All the drinks we had were A-tier in flavor, proof, and presentation, and they have a massive collection of rare and exotic rums to choose from if you know your stuff and wanna explore. A pair of drinks will be ~$40+ with tax and tip, which is normal for CapHill.

Apps were solid. Great flavor, non-conventional in their construction, and worth the price for everything we got.

The whole place is decked out with cabana vibes and it really pulls you into the mood. Especially good in the summer when you can’t find an actually tropical spot to sip at.
