I'm an adult piano student who's been playing for about 20+ years, and began taking lessons from Ryan about a year ago. It's been a terrific experience. Ryan has introduced me to a wide range of classical pieces that are in my wheelhouse and delightful to play. He is a patient, thoughtful teacher who has worked hard to diagnose my weaknesses and elevate my strengths. His musical knowledge is extensive, and he's helped me understand the music I'm playing and stretch to make my performances more expressive. He has inspired me with his enthusiasm for the piano. I highly recommend him.

I took lessons with Ryan for half a year. He is an excellent piano teacher. I liked his choice of piano pieces - they were challenging enough to learn new techniques but not too hard to get discouraged. Ryan is also personable and tailored the lessons to my level and goals. I would recommend him to beginners or adult students that want to get back into playing after a hiatus.
