I went in to get a prescription filled for fluoride toothpaste. They wanted to call the dentist for how to use toothpaste? So sure, I will come back after you call the dentist. A week later, no call from the pharmacy, I call. Where is my toothpaste? "We couldn't get a hold of the dentist." Honestly, I never had an issue calling my dentist. They most likely threw it in a drawer and forgot about it. Now I am going to pick it up, go to Walgreens like I've always done, and get the prescription filled there. easy weasy. I will also change pharmacist.

The other day I literally saw all 4 of their security guards jump and body slam a young woman (mind you all security were men) . Over a loaf of bread and a 2 liter soda. I mean I understand the splitting in sf is rampant . Go after the people stealing to resell and not the ones just trying to survive. I know I've personally been targeted and made to feel extremely uncomfortable while I was shopping by security and your other employees. Mind you i go there often since it's the one closest to my home, and I ALWAYS PAY FOR MY GROCERIES! You guys need to retrail your employees

This is by far the most disgusting and dirty Safeway’s or grocery stores in the city. The staff is often just nowhere to be found if you need help. God for bid you need anything from one of the multitude of locked up cabinets. Today, I went in to get batteries. Of course, they like those behind glass and there’s a button you push for help. The button serve the same purpose as that little button you get from that store that you just push it it says something it does absolutely nothing. You will stand there for at least 15 to 20 minutes. Someone were frantically come over and look at you like they have other things to do. And, God for bid you chase someone down and ask them to come over there. That deeply offends them. I get it. We live in San Francisco. And, the city doesn’t know how to handle crime and deal with it. So, Safeway locks everything literally almost everything behind glass. You would be way better off to pay just a little extra and go to Whole Foods. I made the mistake of going back to the Safeway after multiple times of the same exact issue. And, you’re most likely to encounter crime in the parking lot in this particular one as well.
