Very UNSATISFYED!! I went into the store to buy aome food and went into the clearance section and saw tbey had the har color box at 50%ff and SCOTT the manager told me because it didn’t have a tag he could not sell it at 50% off. he wiuld not try to verfiy it at all. I decided to look if mayne it was taken to the clearance section by accident and when i saw that they dont even sell this product anymore. i knew it was actuallyon sale. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER service!!!
Oddly has most beauty, hygiene, and medical items behind a second, walled-off area that forces you to pay there instead of at the cash registers. Seems to be to counteract theft, but comes across as a surveillance-state unwelcoming environment. Workers were also just rude. Do not plan to shop here again and truly worried that this unfairly disincentives people from purchasing items that make their lives safer and healthier like tampons, medication, and condoms. And Safeway, don’t respond with apologies and a plan to “talk with your team.” Try to actually do better for your community.
