Save yourself the headache and don't go here after 10p. I spent 20-30 min at home before I came clipping forU coupons and I get there the lady wouldn't scan my member card with her scanner and then none of the coupons were working so she fixed two and told me that's all she can do I showed her every single coupon I clipped and she said sorry I did all I can do. With groceries high as they are I avoid Safeway in general and they won't even acknowledge my few dollars I need to save. I'm done with Safeway. If you're trying to save you need to avoid it too.

All the other stores in the neighborhood have closed within a couple miles and I got redirected from Fred Meyer to Safeway. I want to buy some lactaid which was already expensive at 13 to 14 dollars whereas you can get the Walmart brand lactase for 8.99. they raise their price to $23.99 I hope these fools burn in hell. Who in God's name would charge 23.99 for a 60 count lactaid. For the record I require 60 tablets to eat anything with milk in it. You can get three times that for 16 or 17 bucks at Costco. These fools should be ashamed of themselves. I cannot I walked out left all my groceries I said I'm not going to support your store I can't. This is not okay. I told the guy I'm going to go without food tonight because I needed some lactaid and I got some food somewhere. And I will not pay that it's wrong, it's dishonest and it's theft. Shame on management shame on Safeway. If you haven't heard of WinCo best grocery store in western Washington it's 2 to 3 times cheaper on every single item I don't exaggerate what you spend $225 for at Safeway you'll get for 40 to $60 at WinCo. Safeway exploits everybody and it's shameful. I honestly hope their grocery chain crashes and burns after this they do not care about people they're greedy and they are destroying our society. It used to be that grocery stores like Albertsons operated on a margin like 16 or for the record Costco operates on a margin of 2 to 14%. Safeway operates on a margin of 300% plus percent. I'd boycott them but people do not pay attention.

UPDATE AT BOTTOM.Not only do you have to wait forever everytime I come here. You get to the counter and greeted by a lady who looks like she hates her job or the customers not sure which one. Either way she should find another career. Not greeted with a hello , hi. How's it going or thank you for coming to our pharmacy and not someone else's. Just birthdate and name. Never makes eye contact. It's like your a bother. I will be switching to another pharmacy. These people need to realize the obvious. Without customers they don't have a job. If you can't put up even a fake smile and a hello. Then customer service isn't your forte. Which is okay it's not for everyone. Just stop torchering others for your bad job choice. Still standing in line. Started half way down the aisle and it's still half way down aisle. Watching this lady deal with customers is unreal. Why not put her in back filling the prescriptions. She can mean mug the pill bottles all day with no harm done. It's really not that hard to say hi and smile. Act like your happy the customer is coming to you and not somewhere else. Trust me your not the only pharmacy in town. U can count me as a customer lost from poor customer service. This isn't from 1 visit, this has been multiple visits. Came back and would like to say I 2as greeted by a smiling nice person. Even apologized for the wait. Simply acknowledging the customers and thanking then foe the business goes a long way. Thank you. I updated from 1 to 3 and will shoot for a 5star on next visit. Appreciate Safeway acknowledging and fixing the issue.
