Normally I have no issues here but today was different. Clearly this Safeway needs more checkout staff. I was waiting at customer service for a while before I finally went and asked the self checkout attendant if I could get help at Customer Service (I needed a money order). He told me that the cashier at lane 4 was the Customer Service person and to either go into her line or keep waiting at Customer Service and she'll be over when her line goes down. I got in her line, and all of a sudden she had eyeballs to help the next 3 people that popped up at Customer Service. Stopped the whole line to go over and help them, even though I had been waiting for a while and I know she saw me. Some bull.

Safeway is Safeway. Buy the groceries and go home. But not a bad Safeway, pretty busy, gets lots of traffic. They usually have what we need on the shelf. It's a pretty basic store, a decent amount of vegetarian options, good produce, and a bakery that is always busy. All the employees are usually nice, the store is clean and rarely cluttered. Bathroom is clean.

Canceled my order. Was still charged for it. 2 weeks after I should of got a refund it took a customer service supervisor to call the store directly to get my refund. Now I got to wait another week or more for it to go through. Company has definitely gone down hill since they were bought out.
