I encountered a financial hardship and was compelled to consider spending valuable coins from my collection to purchase ice and a beverage. However, I was fortunate to encounter an exceptionally kind and generous individual named Bryson, an employee at Starbucks, who intervened and prevented me from depleting my collection. Instead, he graciously used his own money to cover the cost of my purchase. I am deeply grateful for his act of kindness and believe he deserves recognition and appreciation for his exceptional customer service. In my opinion, such individuals are a valuable asset to any organization, and I would like to bring this to the attention of Safeway management.

I moved to the neighborhood near this store about 2 months ago. I was excited there was a grocery within walking distance to the store because I can't drive due to a disability and use public transportation. I like Safeway because the app makes it easy to plan my shopping and take advantage of savings. Since my first experience the store is not inviting. Over 50% of the staff act either through body language or communication act as if I am a hindrance to them. Several times I have come in to get protein from the meat case and even during peak hours there is a sign that says in break will return. as I do not need or can't afford a full package. I use SNAP for my food shopping as I am disabled and on a fixed income. Twice in the last 7 days I have come in between 7pm and 8pm and the lines have been unacceptably long. September 8th I came in at 7pm to get my groceries. There were so many good savings in the app I arranged for someone to pick me up as I can't carry many heavy bags on public transportation. The self checkout had a line completely down the isle. And the two check stands had at least 12 people in them with large orders. The wait time exceeded my window to get a ride so I was unable to shop. Before moving I used winco for much of my shopping but they are far and the one closest is in a neighboirhood with a severe spike in violent crime in the last couple months. I'll now have to go-to the winco on 82nd Ave and use $14 dollars of my sparse cash funds for a Lyft or Uber. One of the cruelest things stolen from the poor is time. Having to ride a bus for an hour to go 4 miles. Having to wait extremely long periods of time in inner city businesses that are consistently under staffed. This is the worst Safeway I have had the displeasure of having to patronize.

Me and my kids went to Safeway on 122nd Portland Oregon today May 31st at about 5pm. I clipped sale items on the Safeway app. My cashier was very rude. She couldn't figure out how to deal with app problem. She showed her anger to me with a bad look. She asked for her co-worker's help with loud and unpleasant voice. I wanted to return the items and then left. But April helped me scan and gave me store credit for the unpleasant experience. Thank you, April. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the cashier, but for sure all cashiers who worked that shift should know who that was as she was so loud and grumpy. I will be back because of worker like April, however, I hope that I don't have to deal with problem like this in the future.
