I tried to do a return on items that I had exchanged in the past that were brand new since I never ended up using them. the cashier that seemed like she was the manager was only going to refund me the difference I paid from my last purchase, but the items I was returning - which is a shampoo and a hair mask -totaled to around $25 with taxes. she was very persistent that I were to only be refunded $8 which is the difference I paid since I had done another exchange in the past on the same receipt. long story short this confliction went on for about 5 minutes as I kept explaining that there’s no way these 2 items are only valued for $8 instead of $25 but she didn’t seem to catch on. I was told to leave the store because I was causing a “scene” even though I was stating everything in a calm manner. I ended up leaving the store since the cashier didn’t understand why I should be refunded the full $18.
